July 2017 - I feel blessed to walk with the people of St. John's and the larger Mankato community as transition priest, part-time.
I have served through the years as clergyperson in ELCA or Episcopal faith communities in Minnesota, Michigan, and Texas, while also pursuing careers in banking and as a fiscal and operations consultant for nonprofit organizations and faith communities.
I live in Richfield, Minnesota with my two dogs Teddy (Yorkie) and Franklin (Goldendoodle), the Roosevelts. I also have two sons, Eric (Phnom Penh, Cambodia) and Matthew (Spokane, Washington).
In addition to providing a lavish lifestyle for two dogs, I also enjoy running, weight training, movies and theater, and photography.
My core values include Christ-like compassion for all, wholeness in body/mind/spirit, and the priesthood of all people.
My favorite quote:
"Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it's the only thing that ever has.”
