Hooker added, "UFC is an expensive sport to be a fan of, but now people aren't restricted. I was the first fighter from New Zealand to join the UFC almost 11 years ago, and it's incredible to see the growth. Every pub, bar, and restaurant has the fights on now."
However, TVNZ acknowledges the highly physical nature of UFC and plans to take precautions to protect viewers.
